We knew each other awhile ago,

When we said our first hellos.

So much in common we did not know!

But, both with separate paths to go.

Our eyes were cast in different skies.


I loved you, as you did know

Your loved returned in shallow


Now it's time to observe the present,

Our dreams come true, as we strive

to do.

Others pass, but still are there, with

every hope we'll meet them - there.

What so often we felt/shared in common?


We laughed and roared, and even soared.
